The Baltimore Yearly Meeting Meeting House Fund is available as a source of emergency loans to BYM Meetings with an emphasis on addressing the needs of smaller Meetings with fewer resources. Loans are available based on the total balance available as noted in the Yearbook under Funds Balances. The interest rate follows the Internal Revenue Service Applicable Federal Rates. The payback period can be as long as five years. The fund is for repairs on property owned by the Monthly Meeting, although Meetings with other arrangements might be considered. The application form is available from the Yearly Meeting Office. Trustees administer this fund.
In the summer of 2015 Trustees approved for a trial basis the “Vehicle and Driver Safety Policy and Procedures.” It has been created with the involvement of those affected by the policies. After the trial period, Trustees approved the policy at our March 2016 meeting. It will be reviewed in three years. This document reflects the desire of BYM to provide a safe and secure environment for everyone who participates in our programs. The policy as approved is available here.

In 2010 and 2011, Baltimore Yearly Meeting undertook a project to consider the vision of the Yearly Meeting community. As a part of that project, each committee or other unit of the Yearly Meeting was asked to respond to a set of queries that had been promulgated by the ad hoc Visiting Ministers Committee. The responses of the Trustees of Baltimore Yearly Meeting are available here.
