Baltimore Yearly Meeting is the regional organizing unit for the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) in the area of central Pennsylvania, Maryland, parts of West Virginia, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. It is through membership in a Yearly Meeting that individual Quakers become connected with the larger Quaker movement worldwide. Kid’s Day

Friends Wilderness Center (Harper's Ferry, WV)

Bring the kids out to the Niles Cabin at the Friends Wilderness Center and take a guided Nature Hike around the FWC's ponds and near-by trails, play lawn games, do nature crafts, and just enjoy a wonderful Summer Day outside on the lovely Blue Ridge. You will feel better for it! There will even be a special opportunity to meet rehabilitated birds that have been injured and nursed back to health and are now making appearances as feathered ambassadors for the Great Outdoors. Good food, fellowship, and a chance for young and old alike to just kick back and have fun.
