Baltimore Yearly Meeting is the regional organizing unit for the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) in the area of central Pennsylvania, Maryland, parts of West Virginia, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. It is through membership in a Yearly Meeting that individual Quakers become connected with the larger Quaker movement worldwide. The Development Director is responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting and securing new and ongoing gifts from individuals and foundations in support of Baltimore Yearly Meeting’s (BYM) ministries and programs. The Development Director builds relationships and affinity for BYM and for the future of the Religious Society of Friends throughout the Yearly Meeting. Candidates must have a minimum of five years of relevant and successful fundraising experience.

At The Well Gathering to Support Quaker Ministry

Quakers in public ministry whose gender identity is targeted by any form of gender-based discrimination - all women (cisgender adn trans), trans men, genderqueer, non-binary, and all gender expansive identities - are invited to gather the weekend of December 7-9 to support, encourage, and equip each other to be strong in our faithfulness. We'll share worship, worship sharing, workshops, participant-led sessions, socializing, renewal, and fun.
