Dementia is a common yet complex condition. Even though dementia is present in our communities, it isn't always easy for us to talk about openly. This workshop series offers a loving, honest space for interested Friends. We invite caregivers, Friends experiencing cognitive decline, and those serving their Quaker meeting including in roles such as clerk, members of pastoral care, ministry & council, or nominating committees to join us. Together, we will explore how our communities can better understand dementia and support the participation of Friends living with dementia and their loved ones. The Ministry and Pastoral Care Committee is offering an online Grief Support Group. The group meets at 7:00pm on the third Wednesday of each month. Please e-mail the office at admin@bym-rsf.org for the Zoom link.
