Friends Meeting of Washington is going to host the third Friendly Sing-In of Baltimore Yearly Meeting. Everyone is welcome and the ability to either read music or sing is NOT a requirement. All ranges and ages are welcome (although there will not be child-care, there will be child-friendly songs). We will have a general sing led by Ruth Fitz, chanting led by Betsy Krome, hymn singing with Meg Meyer, and You Pick led by all participants. Bagels and juice will be available in the morning, and a yummy lunch at midday. Friends will gather at 9:30 am, and the singing will commence at 10. For 20 years, Shiloh Quaker Camp has always been a “cool” place, and this summer it’ll be even cooler with a NEW POND! Thanks to all who made contributions to the fundraising effort, the pond will be ready for swimming by this summer – and you’re invited to help us celebrate!

Join us on Saturday, June 9 at Shiloh Quaker Camp for the official opening of the Shiloh Pond. Festivities will begin around lunchtime and will continue into the early evening. You are welcome to bring a sleeping bag and stay overnight! The attached flyer contains more information.
