Join Baltimore Yearly Meeting Presiding Clerk Betsy Meyer for a day of discussion and sharing.
The Yearly Meeting’s Advancement and Outreach Committee is hosting their latest Quaker Sing-in, now with an Evening Coffee House Concert! The singing will begin at 9:30 am and will include a mix of warm-ups, exploring Worship in Song, learning a new work by resident composer Ann Bauer, rounds, songs that work for First Day School, and (if we can find them) Quaker Campers to teach summer camp songs! Come for all or any part of the day or evening. Overnight hospitality is even available. For full details, see their website. When was the last time you experienced JOY?
Start now! Volunteer with BYM Youth. There will be a training to become a Friendly Adult Presence at the Youth Programs weekend retreats. This day long program is free, but you do need to bring a bag lunch. To RSVP and receive the advance materials, email Alison Duncan at youthprograms@bym-rsf.org by November 1.
