Criminal and Restorative Justice Working Group Interchange Reports

"For when I was in prison you visited me." Matthew 25:36

Prison ministry has long been a labor of Quakers. While you may not be able to personally visit a prisoner, the Prison Pen-Pal program offers a safe way to connect with someone behind bars. The program affords anonymity, and no sharing of personal information need occur. Notes and cards can be exchanged as frequently as desired, though monthly seems to be a preferred time. We have many requests from prisoners looking to connect with someone on the outside. Please contact Jack Fogarty (301-774-0331 or jfogarty9@verizon.net) or Mike Bucci (301-330-0287 or bucci114@starpower.net) if you would like to share your Light with an inmate in prison.
