  annual event for Quaker high school students and other students intereste
 d in Quaker value based higher education to learn about opportunities to a
 ttend Quaker Colleges. The 2022 Quaker College Fair will be completely vir
 tual! High School students from across the country can attend a series of 
 conversations and panels to ask questions\, meet current college students 
 and reps\, and get to know other Quaker students.<br /><br /><strong>Thurs
 day\, March 31 (7-8 pm)</strong><br />BIPOC Student Space— Facilitated by 
 PYM’s Inclusion & Belonging Coordinator Afroza Hossain\, this space welcom
 es BIPOC students to meet with one another to kick off the college fair.<b
 r /><br /><strong>Monday April 4 — Wednesday April 7 (7-7:30 pm)</strong><
 br />Conversations with College Counselors— Friends high school college co
 unselors are available for a series of open conversations with parents\, e
 nsuring that any parent or student can attend at least one session. Friend
 s school college counselors have generously offered to answer questions an
 d share specific information about the various Quaker colleges.<br /><br /
 ><strong>Saturday\, April 9 (10 am- 12 pm & 1- 5 pm)</strong><br />Panels 
 Series featuring speakers from Quaker Colleges— Six hour-long sessions fea
 turing panelists speaking to a series of relevant topics. The sessions wil
 l be recorded for asynchronous viewing on the Philadelphia Yearly Meeting 
 website. Panels will be facilitated by Quaker youth leaders. Current panel
  topics include:<br /><br />Inclusion and belonging: What resources are av
 ailable to support BIPOC students?<br />Inclusion and belonging: What reso
 urces are available to support first generation students?<br />Social Just
 ice Opportunities: How can I engage with groups advocating for change?<br 
 />Impacts of Virtual learning: What lessons have colleges learned from the
  pandemic?<br />Paying for College: Planning\, Saving\, Financial Aid\, an
 d Merit Scholarships<br />Quaker Value Based Education: What has historica
 lly made Quaker higher education unique? And what makes Quaker higher educ
 ation unique today?<br /><br /><strong>Sunday\, April 10 (1-3 pm)</strong>
 <br />A “Traditional” College Fair— Quaker College admissions departments 
 are invited to represent their schools in a “traditional” style fair to co
 nnect with different students who visit the zoom rooms they’re interested 
 in\, offering the chance for more personal communication. Each room will b
 e accompanied by a PYM staff person for tech support. </p>
