 brought about the creation of MAJR\, the Maryland Alliance for Justice Ref
 orm\, a group of individuals and nonprofit organizations now organizing a 
 statewide initiative for legislation to fund changes in Maryland's crimina
 l justice system\, without raising taxes\, which could simultaneously redu
 ce incarceration and improve public safety. The conversation will begin at
  12:45 in the Yarnall Hall Library.
