 the documentary film God Loves Uganda. The film explores the role of Ameri
 can Evangelicals in Uganda in promoting homophobia\, which contributed to 
 the passing of that country's Anti-Homosexuality Law. Although this law ha
 s been struck down on a technicality by the Ugandan Courts\, it remains in
  force and the social forces that brought it about in the first place stil
 l exist. The ensuing panel discussion will focus on the current conditions
  facing LGBT individuals in a number of countries in Africa and other part
 s of the world where repressive laws against homosexuality have been passe
 d\, and how faith-based communities can work to communicate a message of l
 ove and inclusion for LGBT individuals in these places. The film starts at
