Baltimore Yearly Meeting is the regional organizing unit for the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) in the area of central Pennsylvania, Maryland, parts of West Virginia, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. It is through membership in a Yearly Meeting that individual Quakers become connected with the larger Quaker movement worldwide. On May 19, Fauquier Friends Worship Group will celebrate their 5th Anniversary with a free vegan lunch and a worship-sharing topic titled "Friends With Veggie Benefits", 12:30 to 2:15 pm. The community will be invited to meet Quakers and learn or share about ways and reasons for moving toward plant-based diets. Free recipe booklets will be available. Come! Taste! See!
