Baltimore Yearly Meeting is the regional organizing unit for the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) in the area of central Pennsylvania, Maryland, parts of West Virginia, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. It is through membership in a Yearly Meeting that individual Quakers become connected with the larger Quaker movement worldwide. "In fellowship, in deep listening, in waiting worship, in commitment to each other, it richly rewards those who embrace the challenge of being a Yearly Meeting Friend." Pendle Hill (Wallingford, PA)

Pendle Hill’s annual conference for Young Adult Friends and seekers (18-35). Together with worship and learning practical skills, participants will interrogate how the economic system functions and its role in fueling inequality and oppression among people of different classes, races, ethnicities, genders, nationalities, and more. Participants will learn about how humans have organized their labor and relationships in life-affirming ways and imagine how we could do so in the present and future while exploring their backgrounds and assumptions regarding class, money and capitalism.
