Have you ever thought life would be this way?
Did you ever see your future before today?

Sometimes do you wonder when will be your last breath?
Or are you scared to talk it up and that may be your last step?

Do you pray everyday to God and read his Word?
Or rely on your own will and on the stuff you heard?

Can I be confident and say my life is great?
Or am I being conceited and setting myself up for bait?

Isn’t it easier to do wrong than it is to do right?
Even though I see the consequences clearly in sight.

Again I ask a question and wonder what you think,

Have you ever thought life would be this way?
Or now will you do God’s will and start
Living a better way this day.
