Never Judge (Excerpts)
by Minister: William A. Dean III
“…for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward
appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7
I wondered what was going on as I entered Heaven’s door.
I wasn’t shocked by all its beauty; and neither by its décor.
For it was the hood rats that I saw in heaven that made me not so enthused.
Seeing all the things, liars, dauphines, and alcoholics had made me very
confused.
For there stood the man from Stricker Street that shot somebody twice.
Then I saw B-Boy and Slim that pulled off one of Baltimore’s greatest
heist.
Leo the killer, who I always thought was rotting away in hell.
Was sitting pretty on cloud nine looking extremely well.
So I inquired of the Lord Jesus saying, “What’s the deal?”
For what I’m seeing can’t be real!
I want an explanation to understand your take.
For all these no-good sinners to be up here; the Good Lord must’ve made
a mistake!
And why’s everyone so quiet, my Lord, please give me a clue?
“Hush, my child”, Jesus said, “for nobody expected to see you!”
All that answer the call of Salvation I will never cast out nor shun.
I love every sinner unconditionally and I’m not a respecter of person.
Understand, my son, my purpose is to destroy all sin and strife.
And to convey my Love to every lost soul and to offer “Eternal Life.”
