Dear Friends:
Attached are the forms sent out at the
beginning of each calendar year requesting Monthly Meeting information. I ask that you pass these on to the
appropriate person(s) for completion.
The forms which included are:
1.
Monthly
Meeting information form
requests the names of Monthly Meeting clerks, committee clerks and officers,
etc. We also ask that you provide us with the names of the outgoing
clerk/officer, so that we can accurately update the information. If changes are made during the upcoming year,
please notify the BYM office.
2.
Statistical
information form requests
information on your membership changes from January 1, 2006 to December 31,
2006. Changes include gains and losses by category (e.g., birth, death,
transfers, for both Adults and Associates.
Please return this form by
February 28, 2007 so that the information can appear in the Advance Reports for Annual Session.
3.
Workshop
proposals. Please
remind anyone
who may be interested in leading a workshop that proposals are due to Sheila
Bach, workshop coordinator, by Febraury 21, 2007. Sheila's contact information
is: 305 Friends Way, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425. and email at
snbach@earthlink.net. This year's theme is "Nourishing the Seeds of Hope."
The Yearly Meeting Annual Session will be
held at Frostburg State University the week of July 31 – August 5, 2007. The theme is “Nourishing the Seeds of Hope.”
Shiloh, Catoctin, and Opequon Quaker Camps
are available for weekend retreats. If your Meeting wishes to schedule a
retreat at any of these camps, contact David Hunter at the BYM office or email davidhunter@bym-rsf.org.
