RE: Fall Yearly Meeting Day, October 21, 2006

Friends will gather at the Baltimore, Homewood Meeting House on October 21 to conduct the business of Baltimore Yearly Meeting through committees and Interim Meeting. Homewood Friends are providing hospitality Friday and/or Saturday night and lunch and dinner on Saturday. Friends are offering places for those traveling a distance so do not hesitate to request a place to spend the night. Please return forms by October 15th.

Directions to the Baltimore, Homewood Meeting House
For Fall Yearly Meeting Day

On North Charles Street directly across from the Baltimore Museum of Art and John Hopkins University, Homewood Campus, between 31st and 32nd Street.

Parking is available early in the day on Art Museum Drive, which leads into Charles Street on the other side from the Meeting House (it must be approached from the south-bound side of Charles). Metered and unmetered street parking is available on nearby streets, but some are regulated; check signs carefully. There is a parking garage at Union Memorial Hospital, three blocks north of the meeting house and one block to the east, between St. Paul Street and Calvert Street, and accessible from either. Bring lots of quarters for the parking meters.

Committees and other groups may find it helpful to meet at the Stony Run Meeting’s parking area, at 5116 North Charles, and carpool to Homewood.
