Baltimore Yearly Meeting is the regional organizing unit for the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) in the area of central Pennsylvania, Maryland, parts of West Virginia, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. It is through membership in a Yearly Meeting that individual Quakers become connected with the larger Quaker movement worldwide. Seeks a Bookkeeping Assistant
BYM is seeking a part-time Bookkeeping Assistant. The Bookkeeping Assistant is responsible for helping to maintain BYM’s accounts and cash with accuracy and timeliness in support of the Comptroller. In addition, they are responsible for providing bookkeeping and administrative assistance as needed to the Camping Program Manager and Camp Property Manager. This is an hourly position requiring 22 hours per week on average.

Quakers in public ministry whose gender identity is targeted by any form of gender-based discrimination - all women (cisgender adn trans), trans men, genderqueer, non-binary, and all gender expansive identities - are invited to gather the weekend of December 7-9 to support, encourage, and equip each other to be strong in our faithfulness. We'll share worship, worship sharing, workshops, participant-led sessions, socializing, renewal, and fun. An optional 24-hour pre-gathering will begin December 6 to allow personal sabbatical time or guided discernment program.
