Baltimore Yearly Meeting, gathered for Yearly Meeting sessions at James Madison University in Harrisonburg , Virginia , with the theme “Called to be Peacemakers,” is aware of the current Internal Revenue Service suit against Philadelphia Yearly Meeting because of Priscilla Adam’s conscientious objection to the payment of military taxes.

We are thankful for the gift of the Spirit’s leading and see as fitting and proper Philadelphia Yearly Meeting’s support of Priscilla Adam’s loyalty to her leading as she witnesses to our Quaker Peace Testimony.

As you may know, Baltimore Yearly Meeting has supported Frank Massey, our Yearly Meeting General Secretary and employee, in his conscientious object to the payment of military taxes.
