Friends Wilderness Meditation Center sits within a remarkable 1400 acre nature preserve and spiritual sanctuary 20 minutes south of Harper's Ferry, West Virginia. That's 1.5 hours west of Washington, DC.

About Us: We are a nonprofit organization sponsored by the Friends Meeting of Washington. We were founded through the generosity and foresight of Henry and Mary Cushing Niles, and others.
FWMC is dedicated to spirituality, creative expression, nature, and conservation.

If you are interested in being a presenter for one of our discussions, please let us know - we may be able to "comp" you a night's stay and meals at our homey bed and breakfast. Our preserve is a low-impact, quiet area abounding with wildlife, ponds, streams, and hiking trails. This land abuts the Shenandoah River and the Appalachian Trail. All individuals, children, families and small groups respectful of the FWMC are welcome to visit for the day or stay 1-7 nights.
Our B&B costs $50 per person a night with a delicious dinner & breakfast included. We suggest a small donation for daytime visits or when attending events. You are welcome to become a member of FWMC. Please see our web site for more information and a listing of our events and other resources:
